The New York State Department of Transportation is preparing a Route 9 Complete Streets Preliminary Engineering project to propose a series of recommendations, including a preferred alternative capable of enhancing safety, and pedestrian and bike facilities along Route 9. The project spans from Pierson Avenue in the Village of Sleepy Hollow (Town of Mount Pleasant) to Tompkins Avenue in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson (Town of Greenburgh).
