YONKERS MAYOR SPANO & YONKERS PARKS DEPARTMENT TO UNVEIL RENOVATIONS AT RAVINE AVENUE PARK.
One Of Seven Neighborhood City Parks Renovated This Summer.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will join Yonkers Parks, Recreation & Conservation Commissioner Steve Sansone, staff, residents, and community members to re-open Ravine Avenue Park Tuesday, September 3 at 3:45 P.M. at Ravine Avenue Park (1 Ravine Avenue), unveiling renovations to the neighborhood park.
Renovations include new playground equipment; new safety surfacing; new fitness equipment; new retaining wall; painted basketball surface; and improved site work including walkways, fence work, landscaping and tree work.
Ravine Avenue Park is one of seven parks renovations this summer. Currently, Hudson, Fulton, Schultz, Wilson, Cochran and Stefanik Parks are under construction and expected to be completed shortly. Kinsley Park was unveiled in late July.
