MAYOR MIKE SPANO TO PRESIDE OVER GRADUATION CEREMONY OF 30 YONKERS PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTERS.

 

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will join the Yonkers Fire Department on Friday, May 31, at 11AM at the Grinton I. Will Library (1500 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers) for the graduation ceremony of 30 new Yonkers Probationary Firefighters.  Mayor Spano also will promote three fire officers to Captain and Lieutenant.

 

The graduating class recently completed 18 weeks of rigorous training and will be assigned to Yonkers fire stations across the city.
