Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend,


We are proud to say we shattered our goal for the 11th annual Backpack to School Drive this week. 


Accompanying the 800+ backpacks with school supplies donated to our kids at Enrico Fermi School, we distributed over 300 more bags with supplies to Yonkers residents at City Hall. 


Thank you to all of the drive partners and the Yonkers residents who donated to help our students reach their goals this academic year. 


I’m positive that our youth will gratify any goals established throughout the ’22-’23 school year and make us prouder than ever before.
