Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh Representing Yonkers: Don't Tax My Diapers Rally At The State Capitol.

 


My special thanks to all the Diaper Bank Representatives from across New York and the National Diaper Bank Network representatives who came to the State Capitol this week to rally support for my legislation to Exempt All Infant and Adult Diapers from Sales Taxes.

Too many families are struggling financially to buy enough diapers for their babies. Too many Seniors who purchase adult diapers are struggling with rising inflation. Levying a local sales tax on these basic essentials is just wrong!
