Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh Representing Yonkers: Governor Hochul In Yonkers, Speaks on Record Education Funding in State Budget.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul came to Yonkers to Enrico Fermi School (my old Yonkers High School) Thursday to speak on the New York State Budget's Record Funding for Yonkers Public Schools. In the legislature I supported a $2 Billion Dollar Increase in education funding. I will continue to be a strong advocate for equitable funding for our Yonkers Public Schools.

The Governor also spoke about increased College Tuition Support and changes in tuition aid programs to help part-time students continue their education, especially at CUNY and SUNY campuses.
