New York made history by having its first female Governor, Kathy Hochul. However, many of the original laws of the State continue to use outdated language referring to the Governor as a man. This bill, passed in the Assembly and pending in the Senate, updates this outdated language. I thank my Assembly colleagues on both sides of the aisle for their support.
