With Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow who also represents residents in parts of southern and western Yonkers, and Assemblyman Thomas Abinanti, who will represent Northwest Yonkers starting in January due to our population growth, we held a successful Town Hall Meeting on the New York State Budget. There is more funding for Yonkers specific projects, more state aid for our schools and potentially a full scale casino license for Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts.
Assemblyman Pretlow, Chair of the Assembly Racing and Wagering Committee which I am a member of, discussed the Casino License Status for Empire City Casino. Assemblyman Abinanti thoroughly discussed state Support for People With Disabilities. Thanks to all who came out or joined us online.
