Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh Representing Yonkers.

 


New York has 454,000 fewer jobs than when the COVID-19 pandemic began. Many were lost in the hospitality industry downstate. Awarding Casinos Licenses will create thousands and thousands of good paying jobs in my Assembly district at Empire City Casino Yonkers Raceway by MGM Resorts in hospitality and construction. The economic impact will spread across Westchester and the Bronx, where working families need jobs now. I support Governor Hochul's proposal to move on the licencing now. Working families need these jobs now. Let's get this passed, in the budget, now. #familiesfirst
