Rotary Club of East Yonkers President Steven Simpson invited me to take part in a conference call with members this week. The discussion included the redistricting of legislative maps as is required by the US and State Constitutions. Because the population of the City of Yonkers grew during the past ten years, a few neighborhoods I represent in the Assembly now, will move to adjacent Assembly Districts represented currently by Assembly members Thomas Abinanti and J. Gary Pretlow.The East Side of Yonkers was not affected.
