“The story of Hanukkah is a story of light. Light casts away darkness, uncertainty, trepidation and despair. Light also provides clarity at times when we need it most. Like the story of Hanukkah, let us use our light to honor and remember what we hold dear and have faith a brighter future is on the horizon. I wish Westchester’s Jewish residents a Happy Hanukkah as the Festival of Lights begins.”
