This isn’t my first primary, but it is the first time my record has been so entirely misrepresented by a fellow Democrat. It’s also the first time my Democratic opponent has personally worked to get a third candidate into the race, as Ms. Williams just did. These games are a disservice to all voters. If Ms. Williams is ready to engage in a spirited, fact-based debate, I look forward to competing with her on those terms.
