Yonkers Insider: Town of Greenburgh News: a new non profit-helping pet owners with medical bills.

 

There is much joy having a dog or pet. However, it's also expensive. Rebecca Alexrad is the founder and director of a new non profit called Buddy's Healing Paws. Her non profit has started providing financial help to pet owners who can't afford their pet's medical bills. She feels that no pet owner should ever has to decide whether or not they can help their pets based on cost. I interviewed Rebecca on my WVOX radio show recently. I think this non profit is an amazing public service -a fantastic initiative during these difficult times when so many people are out of work.
