In my dedication to the Yonkers community, I most recently served as a relentless liaison to HUD on behalf of 52 families affected by the fire at 1 Glenwood Avenue in Yonkers on January 6, 2021.
My efforts resulted in HUD’s approval to use CARES Act funding to provide temporary housing assistance for the displaced families. I hand-delivered checks to over 30 families who were affected by the tragedy.
