You can help the town save money by breaking down recycling boxes before they are recycled During COVID-19 many people have been doing more on line shopping. As a result more boxes are being recycled.. Our crews have to break down the boxes before they put the boxes in the truck which takes time. We're trying to reduce the workforce thru attrition. We recognize that some residents are out of work and we want to keep taxes as low as possible. We can't pick up more boxes with fewer people unless you help. One way you can help is to break down the boxes before you place the boxes at the curb. It takes only a few seconds but could enable us to do more with less. Thanks.
