Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Hall Beat.

Dear Friend,

We realize a significant amount of litter and debris have accumulated on our streets since the start of this pandemic.

The City of Yonkers would conduct a citywide cleaning of our streets. Effective Monday, May 18 through Sunday, May 24, the Yonkers Department of Public Works will resume with its street-sweeping hours and work daily to clear the accumulated debris from our streets.

Alternate side of the street parking rules will then be suspended for two weeks, May 25 through June 7, during which time we will reassess the cleanliness of our streets.

Current on-street meter regulations will remain shortened (10 AM-6 PM) during New York State's PAUSE.

These efforts will allow our city to look its best, and when we look our best, we feel better about where we call home. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Mayor's 24/7 help-line at (914) 377- 4357.

MIKE SPANO
Mayor
