CALL FOR ARTISTS: Native Expressions Submission Deadline: Friday, October 4, 2019, 11:59pm Work In Date: Monday, October 14, 10 - 2pm (alt date Saturday, 7 from 1- 5pm) Opening Reception: Saturday, October 19, 6 - 8:30pm Exhibition Dates: October 19 - November 16, 2019 We welcome Native American artists to the Blue Door Art Center to grace our walls with colorful expressions of life through art. All are welcome to submit art and crafts of all media. We are excited to explore Native American culture through the lens of art. Co-curated by Julie Cousens and Luis Perelman, Blue Door Executive Directors. Submission Guidelines: Actual work must be no larger than 24” x 36" in dimension. (contact us if you have a question about a larger work) Artists may submit up to six entries. At least one piece will be chosen, up to six may be entered. Member Artists whose works are accepted pay an installation fee of $25 per each work and Non-Member Artist pay an installation fee of $35. per each work. Blue Door Gallery receives 25% commission on all sales for Members, and 35% for non-members. Find more information and Submission Form here.
