Friends and Neighbors,
As summer begins, my team and I remain committed to supporting our community both in and out of Albany. We’ve had the chance to join in efforts that promote wellness, unity, and service, reflecting the values that keep our communities grounded and growing. Whether through citywide initiatives or community events, we continue to engage with the work that strengthens our community from within.
Given the ongoing global conflicts, we join many in calling for permanent ceasefires, open dialogue, and peaceful negotiations. Now more than ever, we must uplift the values of empathy, diplomacy, and resolution over violence.
We wish the very best to all the students and staff beginning summer school programs, and to the many families involved in local camps across Yonkers. To everyone traveling during these warmer months, we hope your journeys are safe and your time restful. We’re here and ready to serve as we carry this spirit of connection and renewal into the rest of the season.
As always, please feel free to reach out to my office with any concerns or questions.
