I am proud to announce that the Tuckahoe Road overpass above the Sprain Brook Parkway has now been officially renamed the "Detective Sergeant Frank Gualdino Memorial Bridge." Along with Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, I had the honor of sponsoring Bill A8359/S8121, which designates this bridge to commemorate Detective Sergeant Gualdino’s legacy.
This unveiling represents a heartfelt tribute to a man who served our community with 24 years of dedicated service to the Yonkers Police Department. Special thanks to Senate Sponsor Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Mayor Mike Spano, Police Commissioner Christopher Sapienza, Yonkers PBA President Frank McDonald, Westchester County Legislator James Nolan, and especially to Lisa Gualdino and the entire Gualdino family for their invaluable support in making this dedication possible.
