Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Senator Shelley Mayer 37th District.

 


Dear Friends, 


This last week has been a sad and deeply upsetting time in American politics. The attempted assassination of former President Trump was abhorrent and of course, terribly sad. I am thankful that Mr. Trump is recovering. I send my condolences to the family of Corey Comperatore, the man who was killed and hope those recovering from their injuries are well soon. However great our differences may be, a violent resolution is never acceptable and has no place in our politics, absolutely none.
