I will forever be grateful to President Joe Biden for leading us through one of the most perilous times in our country’s history. He is a good, decent man who, as our president, used his 53 years of experience in public service to craft what may well be the most productive administration in recent times.
President Biden’s achievements will make our world a better place for years to come — the American Rescue Plan, Inflation Reduction Act, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, Respect for Marriage Act, and successful nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson as Supreme Court Justice, to name a few. It cannot have been easy to end to his re-election campaign. But, by doing so, he put country above self and paved the way for our future.
With that future in sight, I enthusiastically support Kamala Harris to become the first woman President of the United States.
I have long admired Vice President Harris for her intellect, levelheadedness, and strong sense of professionalism, all of which will serve her well as our next president. Her extensive experience as an attorney general, senator, and vice president make her uniquely poised to build on the Biden legacy and confront the challenges that put our country, our environment, and our children’s futures at risk. With our support, Kamala Harris will be the candidate to win the ultimate case against Donald Trump, the one at the polls in November. I’m with her — because she’s with us! |
