Please join us on Monday, May 20th before our regular board meeting for our annual observance of Jewish-American Heritage Month, streaming live from the BOL Chamber at 7 p.m. We are proud to be recognizing an outstanding institution, the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center (HHREC), and to honor an outstanding individual, Jill Ratner, M.D., a healthcare advocate and humanitarian.
In addition to the regular board meeting, four public hearings will be held on:
- A Local Law amending Chapter 780 of the Laws of Westchester County relating to the requirement that the County receive prior written notice of a defective condition to maintain a civil action.
- A Local Law authorizing the County of Westchester to amend the lease agreement with Port Chester Gateway LLC, in order to extend the term of the lease for an additional five (5) years.
- A Local Law authorizing the County of Westchester to exempt from taxation, Indian Point Energy Center, in accordance with the provisions of Section 485 of the New York Real Property Tax Law.
- Proposed agreement with Holtec Indian Point 2, LLC and Holtec Indian Point 3, LLC for payments in lieu of taxes, in accordance with the provisions of Section 485 of the New York Real Property Tax Law.
