Dear Neighbors, We have a beautiful weekend ahead, perfect for a parade! The Yonkers Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade steps off on Sunday, June 2 at 12:30 p.m. on McLean Avenue and South Broadway. A festival at Chicken Island filled with live music and food will follow the parade. Hope to see you out there! I'd like to extend my congratulations to our newest recruits in both the Yonkers Fire Department and the Yonkers Police Department. Both had graduation ceremonies today. To the men and women taking on these careers, thank you for your service to our great City, and be safe out there. Enjoy the weather and your time together. Have a great weekend, Yonkers!
