Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Hall Beat: Special Yonkers City Council Meeting: Councilman John Rubbo named Majority Leader of Yonkers City Council and Deana Robinson named Majority Whip on Yonkers City Council.

 

At a Special Yonkers City Council Meeting held today. Yonkers City Councilman John Rubbo was named Majority Leader of the Yonkers City Council and Councilwoman Deana Robinson was named Majority Whip of Yonkers City Council.

Rubbo replaces Tasha Diaz as Yonkers City Council Majority Leader after some recent stuff that has been going on between Councilwoman Diaz and Councilwoman Pineda Isaac. 

We wish Tasha Diaz the best in her role as a Yonkers City Council person for the Third District. 

Also at the meeting, Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Isaac of the Second District was censured by The Yonkers City Council for taping a conversation of Tasha Diaz with her Chief of Staff.
