Join us at the Crestwood Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29th, where we proudly honor John Monaco, a WWII veteran, as our esteemed Grand Marshal. Don't miss the special addition of sailors and marines marching in the parade, joining us from Fleet Week to commemorate this important day of remembrance. See schedule below:
9:30am Motorcade cars arrive and park on right side of St. Eleanora's Lane. Veterans to be assigned to your vehicles.
9:45am Marching groups arrive and line up. Parents of scouts will drop off their children. Scout leaders will be in charge of the scouts. Parents/siblings will leave and line the parade route.
10:00am PARADE begins.
ROUTE: St. Eleanora's Lane, right onto Westchester Avenue, left onto Pennsylvania Avenue, left onto Thompson Street.
Approx. 10:40am CEREMONY held at the American Legion Plaza (near the Crestwood Train Station)
Approx. 11:15am CEREMONY ends, followed by Refreshments
11:45am RETURN TRIP FOR VETERANS Veterans who need a ride back to their car at Annunciation should meet at the stage at 11:45am. A driver will get you back to your car at Annunciation.
