Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh 90th District: Enrico Fermi Educational Fund of Yonkers Annual Scholarship Breakfast.

 


This week, I was pleased to attend the annual Enrico Fermi Educational Fund of Yonkers Annual Scholarship Breakfast. At this event, I joined my colleagues in government in recognizing the incredible accomplishments of our young people in the City of Yonkers and beyond. In addition, to recognizing the students and their families, I was proud to present a special New York State Assembly Citation to my good friend Dr. Maria Elena-Liotta who serves as president of the organization and their annual master of ceremonies, renowned anchor Ken Rosato from ABC News. To date, the Fund has donated over $1 million in scholarships to area children to help them achieve their educational goals. Excelsior!
