PENDING LAWSUIT: Hector "Stop and Shake" Santiago Is Planning To Sue The City of Yonkers And The #YonkersPoliceDepartment For Being Assualted At A #YonkersCityCouncil Meeting

WESTCHESTER COUNTY: #LeoGlickman the attorney representing Hector Santiago in an impending civil suit against The City of Yonkers has sent a letter to the office of the #WestchesterCounty District Attorney #MimiRocah to investigate a #YonkersPD assault on #Yonkers Community Activist #HectorSantiago that occurred after he was being escorted from the council chambers.

YONKERS: Video captured a #YonkersPolice Detective #RussellKiigore delivering a closed-fist punch to Hector Santiago's head in a city hall hallway.

Attorney Glickman calls for an investigation into the #YPD and for the officers involved in the assault, just as his client, Hector Santiago was immediately arrested for seemingly lesser charges.

Hector Santiago is facing multiple criminal charges, but the prosecutors are trying to get him to accept a plea deal for misdemeanor 'disturbing the peace".

Hector Santiago was originally charged with obstruction, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer.

The prosecutors apparently dropped the assault charge against Hector Santiago.

Hector Santiago is a Human Rights Commissioner for The City of Yonkers.
