2023 ELECTIONS: First District #YonkersCityCouncil Woman Shanae Verice Williams, who is completing her second term has recently declared her candidacy for County Legislator.
Councilwoman Shanae Verice Williams will be challenging former first district #Yonkers councilman and current #WestchesterCounty Legislator, Christopher A. Johnson
Her current legislative aide of six years, Deana Renee Norman-Robinson, has stepped up to fill William's role in an upcoming political contest for the District 1 council seat.
And Legislator Christopher A. Johnson's aide Shatika Parker is being pushed to challenge Deana Renee Robinson, but is said to be reluctant to do so.
All of this drama is making the first district the most exciting race in The City of Yonkers as two elected officials and their aides go after each others in what many call a bitter long term minority leadership feud in the city of hills....
