PEARLS Hawthorne School Playground Ribbon Cutting - Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

 

The Yonkers Board of Education Ribbon Cutting will officially open the new early childhood playground at PEARLS Hawthorne School, which replaces equipment that was more than 20 years old. Quality safe outdoor play areas are essential for young children’s social-emotional and physical development. The PEARLS playground, which cost the school district $250,000, is the eighth playground completed at a Yonkers Public Schools in the last 6 years.
