Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh.

 


Today, I was proud to present Isabel Lavery and her parents, Peter and Selina, a New York State Assembly Citation for Service to our Community.
As a rising High School Senior, she collected over 130 dance costumes worth over $100,000 for Youth Theater Interactions, a local organization in Yonkers which connects vulnerable youth with opportunities in the performing arts. Thanks to Isabel’s tenacity and generosity, at risk children will be able to benefit from the joy the arts can provide. As an educator and an Assemblyman, I have always emphasized the importance of this programming to help nurture our children. Congratulations Isabel and Excelsior!
