To protect our green spaces and the environment in the Assembly we voted in favor of the Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act. It will fund projects in flood risk reduction; preserving open space farm and forest land; climate change mitigation and water quality improvement. The proposal will be on the November General Election ballot.
We also passed with my support the Advanced Building Codes, Appliance and Equipment Efficiency Standards Act to increase the State’s appliance efficiency standards and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change.
