This week my office was pleased to take part in a Zoom discussion with the Professor Charles Chesnavage from Mercy College who is President of the Westchester Coalition against Islamophobia. I also met with Elizabeth Seton Children’s C.E.O. Patricia Tursi. Elizabeth Seton Children's is a pioneering provider of care, education and hope for children with some of the most challenging medical conditions any person can face. It features the largest residential medical center of its kind in the United States. School Safety was the main as I joined with my Legislative Colleagues Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Senator Shelley Mayer and Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow at City Hall to discuss school safety with Mayor Mike Spano and Yonkers Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Edwin M. Quezada and Administration Officials.
