The Yonkers Police Department received reports Sunday regarding black bear sightings in the Fox Terrace area adjacent to Dunwoodie Golf Course. The animal retreated into the wooded area without incident.

Any aggressive, attacking, or emergency behavior should be reported. Please do not leave any food sources outside as black bears are skilled scavengers. Please be wary of leaving your pets outside without supervision.
