Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Issac 2nd District: March in Support of Sexual Assault Awareness.


On Saturday, April 30th, the City of Yonkers partnered with Yonkers Public Schools and Yo Digo No Más, a local non-profit, to hold its first march against sexual assault in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The march ended at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Microsociety School on Morris Street and Riverdale Avenue. Educational workshops on sexual assault were held at the school, and music, food and activities were held in the school yard. We had a great turnout!
