On Saturday, May 21, 2022, The Mothers 2016 Butterfly Release event took place in front of the Unity Fountain at City Hall. The event is sponsored by The Matthew Wallace Foundation and Hope Hollingworth-Coaxum in memory of all the children who are no longer with us. The release of the butterflies in memory of their children is a beautiful and powerful moment. The Mothers are a group of women who come together to support and encourage one another and others who are struggling with grief.
May God rest their souls in eternal peace!.
