Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Council Majority Whip John Rubbo 4th District: YONKERS' YOUNGEST FIREFIGHTER IN HISTORY.

 


Capes for a COS is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating custom, adaptive cosplay for children with disabilities.  On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Capes for a COS and Yonkers Firefighters Local 628 made Anthony Piacennte's dream of becoming a firefighter a reality.

Anthony is a 5 year old who has been diagnosed with quadriplegia cereal palsy and a seizure disorder.  Firefighter Anthony Piacente received a custom made fire truck built around his wheelchair and his own personal bunker gear.  

What an amazing and exciting day!
