The New York State Assembly Capitol Internship Program annually brings in 150 college students for the Spring Semester to continue their course work in Government Administration and Public Policy, and to gain hands on experience working for Assembly members.
This Spring, Megan Hartman from San Diego interned with me and my Capitol Staff and quickly took over daily operations management while also working on legislation. She also managed efforts to gain support for legislation I introduced from other members of the Assembly and Senate. Best wishes for Megan as she returns to the Rochester Institute of Technology for her Senior Year and begins preparing for her Juris Doctoral career at Syracuse University Law School.
