Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers City Council Minority Leader Mike Breen 5th District: STATEMENT ON THE LATE NEW YORK STATE BUDGET.

 


The New York State Legislature has left Albany without passing a timely budget. This means no desperately needed fix of the failed bail reforms passed by our state legislature. This means no deal on full gaming at the Empire City Casino to bring much needed revenue to Yonkers. This means no relief to the taxpayer with the suspension of the tax on vehicle and home heating fuel. I wish it were an April Fools joke, but this is far far from funny.
