I met with Yonkers resident Mary Shmotolocha who stopped by my office with questions about Immigration Services and Visas as her nieces from war torn Ukraine, Alina and Vika are now staying with her family here in Yonkers.
We are able to help residents with a wide range of questions about government services and when we don't have the answer you need, we will guide you to someone who does. We receive many inquiries about navigating State and Federal programs and agencies.
My District Office at 35 East Grassy Sprain Rd. Yonkers now serves as a satellite office for Congressman Jamaal Bowman's staff on Wednesdays to address Immigration and other Federal issues and concerns. Call my office to schedule an appointment, (914) 779 -8805.
This will become additionally important now that the Biden administration has authorized the U.S. to accept 100,000 refugees from Ukraine, and with one the nation's largest Ukrainian-American populations, Yonkers will likely see many coming here as the war drags on.
