My office has partnered with several community organizations to bring a few events to Yonkers residents, two of which will be taking place next week.
On Wednesday, March 16th at 4:00pm, there will be a rally coming to the Daylighting Park at New Main Street and Nepperhan Avenue, in support of the Excluded Workers Fund. Supporters will be marching to Yonkers before they continue on their way to Albany. Please join me, along with Catholic Charities and the Yonkers Sanctuary Movement, on Wednesday at 4:00pm to show your support.
On Thursday, March 17th, I will be joining the Westchester Independent Living Center, the Autism Project FLOS, and other local community organizations for Spanish language workshops to help parents of children with special needs learn how to advocate for their children. Both workshops will be held via zoom; the first from 11:30am-1:00pm and the second from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Zoom log-in details are below.
