Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh Representing Yonkers.

 


The U.S. Premier League (USPL) held its launch event this weekend at Castle Royal and I was pleased to attend and support the effort to bring Cricket to more athletes and fans here in the United States. The USPL is a semi-professional cricket league launched by Cricket Clubs of Westchester, Offbeet Media Group, Sandeep Singh, Dinkal Patel, Dr. Ashok Chopra, and Jaideep Singh. Senator Shelley Mayer and I were on hand to cheer the new league on. USPL aspires to increase the growth of cricket within the United States. Teams from 8 cities will start play in June, with matches scheduled for SUNY Purchase June 16-20. @cricuspl
