Assemblyman Sayegh Statement On Hate Crimes.

"The citizens of Yonkers, one of the most diverse cities in America, will not tolerate racially motivated attacks against Asian Americans or any ethnic or racial group and I have every confidence in District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah and her experienced team to prosecute any alleged hate crimes in our community to the fullest extent of the law. The Yonkers Police Department's careful and deliberate handling of the investigation into this brutal attack is commendable. Additionally, I call on the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York to continue its vigilance in pursuing Federal Hate Crime prosecutions whenever warranted."
