Dedication of the New Josephine A. Caruso Auditorium at Lincoln High School.



As a former Public School Principal and Yonkers Board of Education President I know the value of the Arts in Education, so I was pleased to be able to obtain a $250,000 State Grant for the renovation and upgrading of this important facility.

Lincoln High School's Arts Education Program will benefit as will the community. The Friday afternoon ribbon cutting is to be followed by an art show and then concert. The auditorium is dedicated to the memory of teacher and talented pianist Josephine A. Caruso for her contributions to the Lincoln High School community, the Yonkers Public Schools and our entire city.
