My Albany State Capitol intern Meghan finally was able to check out the State Assembly Chamber this week as COVID-19 safe guards were scaled back a bit. The Chamber had been closed to all but minimal staff since the Legislative Session began in January.
Among her assignments this week, Meghan negotiated, on my behalf, adjustments to my legislation updating the use of gender descriptions in state documents. When many were written, the notion of a woman as Governor was just not thought of.
