A creative idea - non voting student member of the School Board and creation of capital reserve account.

GCSD is asking voters to consider approving two propositions.
Proposition One: Creation of a Capital Reserve account which would help pay the cost of any object or purpose for which a bond may be issued. At this time we are only asking the voters to allow the District to set up the reserve.
WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR ANY ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO BE PLACED IN THE RESERVE AT THIS TIME NOR ARE WE PROPOSING A BOND PROPOSITION WITHIN THIS SCHOOL YEAR.
Proposition Two: Establish an ex-officio Student BoE Member as a non-voting member.
