Thursday, September 23, we had a ribbon cutting ceremony at Dayspring Commons & Community Center (320 Walnut Street). Yonkers partnered with Westhab and invested into this safe haven for 63 families. 37 apartments are reserved for homeless families, including young adult parents with children and families with special needs. The Community Center includes assistance with career opportunities, counseling services, childcare and more.
Congratulations Rich Nightingale and the entire Westhab Team!
Yonkers City Councilman John Rubbo 4th District.
