Families are waiting to get their children enrolled in child care as providers struggle to fill professional child care positions.
Child Care Council of Westchester has launched a campaign to try to help. There are a variety of jobs available, right now, with children of different ages, at child care centers, in after school programs, and with family providers throughout Westchester. Some positions require experience and/or a certain level of education, others do not. Potential employees also may be eligible for free training opportunities through their employers, and with the Child Care Council of Westchester.
The Child Care Council is inviting anyone interested to visit it's new Careers in Child Care portal — https://www.
