(Port Chester, NY) – Ahead of the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and
Yom Kippur, Senator Shelley B. Mayer will host a virtual forum, “Combating Antisemitism,” on addressing and preventing the rise in Antisemitism.

Senator Shelley B. Mayer said: “Over the past year, we’ve seen an unacceptable and concerning rise in Antisemitism in our country. I am pleased to be able to present this forum to promote a culture of inclusion and tolerance in our community, especially this time of year.”
Senator Shelley B. Mayer will be joined by panelists ADL NY/NJ Regional Director Scott Richman, Westchester County Human Rights Commission Executive Director Tejash V. Sanchala and Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah. Panelists will discuss data on Antisemitism, how incidents evolve into crimes and what their offices are doing to address the issue.
Guests are invited to ask questions during the event.
