e-Bikes and e-Scooters Rules To Know Before You Go The Yonkers Police Department would like to remind users of e-bikes and e-scooters that riding on sidewalks is not allowed and violators are subject to a traffic summons. As these personal transportation devices have become more popular, please be respectful of pedestrians and vehicular traffic and ride in designated lanes or streets in the direction of traffic and follow all rules of the road.
