New York State Insider: New York State Senator Pete Harckham 40th District: Celebrating Race Amity in Somers.

 

I recently met with the members of the steering committee of Race Amity of Northern Westchester & Putnam at the Somers Public Library and presented them with a Senate Proclamation in recognition of Race Amity Day 2021. The organization, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, unites people in an effort to condemn acts of racial violence.
